Located in Columbia, Missouri, the Ridgeway Neighborhood is bordered by Business Loop 70, Providence Road, Sexton Road, and Jewell Avenue. Since its inception in April of 1998, the Ridgeway Neighborhood Association has opened dialogue regarding such issues as planning, zoning, crime, traffic, and neighborhood beautification.

Ridgeway is a diverse neighborhood. Nine of our 14 square blocks are residential in nature, with an owner-occupancy rate of about 35%. We are home to Ridgeway Elementary School (one of the city's two magnet schools) and the Downtown Optimist Club Park. Other amenities within our boundaries include a pharmacy, a shoe store, a convenience store, a coin laundry, a medical clinic, a family planning clinic, a few hair salons, and several restaurants. City bus routes are readily accessible.

Ours is an older, centrally-located neighborhood, with some homes built nearly a century ago. Hickman High School is directly across Providence Road from us. The campuses of the University of Missouri, Columbia College, and Stephens College are less than 2 miles away, and downtown Columbia is within a mile.
